Show at Musica
After Christmas, Zac's band played a show at Musica in Akron. A pretty decent turnout considering it was the Sunday after Christmas and most people in Akron are too cheap to pay $10 to see 5 bands.

I'm not sure if Aster was mad that he wasn't allowed to go or that I made him wear that "awesome" sweatshirt.

More Bathroom Pictures ... almost there
After trying to get Zac to be serous in one of these pictures, I finally gave up.
The final plumbing ... sink drain (only three trips to the home depot).

Aster the pup - who has gotten tired of our bathroom project, which is distracting us from spending quality time playing catch and cuddling on the couch, has taken to doing his business in the living room and eating my shoes to show us how unhappy he is.

Family
To celebrate my parent's 30th anniversary, THEY took us out to brunch at this old historical place in North Canton. Yummy brunch buffet. My mom even re-proposed to my dad with a new wedding ring (since he lost his over 25 years ago). And now, since my dad is retired, he has no excuse not to wear it! : )

One Republic
Last night, Zac and I, along with some friends, went to the One Republic concert at EJ Thomas Hall. They played with three other bands and the show was really good. Most notable to me was the base player for One Republic. The scrawny, emo rocker kid started the concert playing the base guitar. A few songs into the set, he busts out a cello. Yes, a cello - the classical string instrument you see old ladies playing in an orchestra. The way the band incorporated the classical instrument into their overall sound was really cool. Props to the cello kid (Brent Kutzle), he was awesome.
